Xbox Live Update 11/19

l337caveman Nov 19, 2013 05:32AM PST

The new update happened at 7AM for me. I was actually watching twitch last night on my Xbox with no problems. When I woke up and checked it, there was a 14Mb update. I think it adds a search function (very useful) but now every single streamer I click on either loads unlimited advertisements that have a black screen, or the stream itself bit also a black screen. Audio comes through just fine but no video comes through and the advertisements were never-ending. I have tried uninstalling the update and reinstalling. I've tried jumping to other streams. Nothing is working. (Sorry if there are any grammatical errors, this is on my phone)

Try uninstalling/deleting the app and any related data, then reinstall.

If uninstalling/reinstalling does not work for you, try these steps (we're hoping to fix without these steps as soon as possible):

1. Go to Settings -> System -> Storage -> All Devices -> Games and Apps -> Twitch
2. Select ContainerKey (Saved Game)
3. Select Delete and confirm
4. Try running the app again

Uninstalling and installing didn't work for me. Deleting the containerkey did work for me though.

Just got a black screen on my Twitch when I try to run the app on my 360. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it... Nothing. The only things I got in my Twitch file on my harddrive is Twitch and Twitch Title Update. No Containerkey that everyone is talking about. Help?
