How to make the videos be saved and show up under "past broadcasts"

kolibrizas Oct 29, 2013 03:37PM PDT

I tried to make a stream and the quality was great, everything was good, but a day has passed and I cannot see my stream in my "past broadcasts" category. Do I need to be a premium user for that? Also, when I go to users like "chessnetwork", they have nothing in that "past broadcasts" category either. And I am pretty sure he has streamed so many times that he must have at least some of them. Not to mention, when the old layout was active, I could easily browse throughout the whole gallery of his videos and find my favorite moments or catch up with the latest streams. Now I cannot find them. Maybe I am looking at the wrong place?
Thanks in advance :)

P.S. I read a few forum posts, some of them telling me to check some option of "past broadcast" in my settings here : "twitch.tv/settings/video", however, the link goes to "twitch.tv/settings". Also, I cannot find such an option in any of the settings. There is something with "Archive Broadcasts", but is this the thing I am looking for?

After you enable Archive Broadcasts and go to the Dashboard and then to Recorded you should find your video there. Then click your video and go to the settings option under the video. From there it should give you the option to 'Save Forever'. After you click this it should show up in your Past Broadcasts.

Hey Aaron Clay, pretty pathetic Staff answer, way to be helpful

Go to twitch.tv/settings.

Click on Channel & Videos.

Look for Archive Broadcasts

Check Automatically archive my broadcasts

Click Save Changes Button

Furthermore you can link your YouTube account, which videos will post there as well.
